Dear Friends,
I'm sorry I haven't written sooner. Thank you all so much for praying for us. The trip up north went well. We left Friday Feb.1st and arrived Sunday in time for Kyle to watch the SuperBowl :-) Other than having a flat tire during a snow storm in the Siskiyous in Northern California everything went fine. That evening Titus thanked God for the flat tire because he thinks otherwise they wouldn't have gotten to play in the snow for 2 hrs. (which is probably true :)!
We stayed at a nice hotel in town until our moving truck arrived on Wednesday morning. The unloading went great and we didn't have any rain except for the last half hour. Unpacking is going S-L-O-W to say the least but it's more fun than packing!!! We have a wonderful house about 5 minutes from our new church "Grace Bible Church". The people are so sweet and have welcomed us very warmly. One of Kyle's close friends' family has had us over for dinner for the last 6 days! They have really helped the kids and I adjust well. It's so exciting to be here for only a week and yet feel like I've known these people for a long time - praise God for the body of Christ!
Kyle is at his first day of work down in Seattle today. He has at least a one hour commute each way every day. I'm so thankful to live close to the church but please keep Kyle in your prayers. Thankfully he has an iPod and can listen to music, audio-books, and sermons on the way.
I cannot thank you all enough for your warm gifts, sweet cards, good-byes, and most of all your faithful prayers. We miss you all so much. However, we are very thankful for God's will in our lives. He has been so incredibly good to us throughout this entire moving process. May He be glorified and praised for every thing in our blessed lives!
IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL HERE - I've already seen 8 bald eagles!!!!!
Give us a call or shoot us an email ~ we'd love to hear from you!
Much, much Love and God's blessings,
Liesy for the Turnbulls
