Prayer Request

Please pray for me as my pregnancy-migraines are getting more severe every day. This one has now lasted for 11 days and we even had to go to the ER last night to get a shot of morphine. It's been difficult to do my home-chores and take care of the kids, etc. Normally (as my last 2 pregnancies) all this should be over by the time I'm 5 months pregnant. So, I have another 6 weeks to go - Lord willing. I'm so grateful to be with child but this has proven to be rather difficult to deal with.

Liesy,

I will be praying for you!!! I just heard about your headaches the day before you posted. I totally know what you mean in the last sentence - I couldn't feel more the same way.

I'm not sure what your stance is on medications, supplements and such during pregnancy, and I also know that lots of well meaning recommendations are completely useless, but here I go anyway. :) My OB recommends Co-Enzyme Q-10 for headaches - I've never tried it, but he has had a lot of success with it for his patients. I also know that some people take Phenergan (not sure why / how it works on headaches), and it's considered pretty safe in pregnancy (Cat B) - I've taken it for the entirety of Cal's pregnancy and so far with Hallie for nausea with no ill effects. If nothing else, you'll be able to sleep through some of the pain. :)

No matter what, I will be praying - I know that the days crawl by when you are struggling so much physically.

Liesy,

I will definitely be praying for these next couple of months. I will also be praying for your kids that God would give them patience and understanding while you are in pain! I missed seeing you yesterday at the Green's. I didn't even know that you had a blog until I read your comment on Mo's blog. You are a CRAZY blogger! Great job!

Liesy, I will continue to pray for you! Pregnancy migraines are awful/horrible/yucky, especially when they go on and on for days at a time (though I have never had one last for 11 days - you poor thing!!).

I know that when I was pregnant with Elise and dealing with migraines, and just feeling awful in general, you were the one telling me to let things go a bit around the house, and to slow down with the kiddos as well, and do only what was absolutely necessary. So now I'm throwing your advice back at you. LOL!

I miss you so much and I wish that I could do something to help you! But I will faithfully pray for you, my friend!
