Well yes, I'm still pregnant! Even though I'm getting more uncomfortable every day I am truly very thankful to God for allowing me to carry this baby this long. We've had so many friends have premature, under developed babies this last year that this entire pregnancy I've been praying that I could carry this baby to full maturity. God is answering that prayer and I thank Him for it! If you think of us please pray for a good labor and delivery. Also, please pray for each one of us to adjust well into this very NEW part of our lives.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was quiet, peaceful, and joyous. Kyle decided that we should no longer open gifts on Christmas (after having prayed about it and read about the history of gifts on Christmas for severeal years) but instead to open gifts on New Year's. I must admit that I really bucked up at first. But then I prayed and asked the Lord to help me and He did. I am so glad Kyle made this decision. Our Christmas was SO different than usual . We were able to truly focus on the Lord and not be consumed with all the new stuff and toys, etc. We had a wonderful family day with two great meals and playing outside and going out in the evening to look at Christmas lights. All the pictures are following but they're in no particular order.
Kyle's been off work and will be off until the end of the year - so FUN! We're keeping busy with different projects. I'm trying to really stay on top of things as far as house-keeping so that when the baby does come most everything is in order - Lord willing. The boys are enjoying the extra time with dad. They've been building numerous wood crafts including an army jeep, a train, a fighter jet, a ship, a helicopter, etc.
My dad is arriving on Tuesday to stay with us for a few months and we can all hardly wait. He's going to be a huge help with the boys and it'll be so fun to have him around. I hope my mom will be able to join us all here within the next month or two. Kyle's parents will come in March to see the baby and stick around for a while. They have a nice little "apartment" type thing at Kyle's sister's house (she's only 15 min. away).
Well, I guess that's the update for now. I'm hoping the next update will be a Baby announcement :0)!!!!
